It’s Okay to Take Things One Day at a Time
Lately, I’ve been reminding myself of something very simple: I don’t have to figure everything out all at once. And I think I needed that reminder more than I realized. Because it’s so easy to feel like you’re behind in life. To feel like there’s so much you should already know. So much you should already be doing. So many things you should have figured out by now. Especially when you’re trying to build a career, learn new skills, and also navigate adulthood at the same time. It can feel like everything is happening at once. And when that feeling comes, the natural response is to try and fix everything immediately. To plan everything. To rush the process. To put pressure on yourself to “get it together” as quickly as possible. But I’m starting to realize that this approach only makes things more overwhelming.
